Our Mission
The way businesses buy stuff is completely broken. Whether it’s SaaS, hardware, or contractors, the average B2B purchase takes over 3 months, requires 50+ emails, and involves multiple different stakeholders (IT, Legal, InfoSec, Finance, etc.). No one likes the way it is and it’s slowing businesses down.
Omnea’s platform handles the entire purchasing process: giving employees an easy place to make requests (Intake), managing the necessary approvals for the purchase to be made (Approvals Engine), and automating all renewals management & supplier risk assessments. Omnea gives both buyers, and finance & procurement leaders critical visibility into how, when, and why money is being spent.
Given the current market's increased focus on capital efficiency, there has never been a more vital time for businesses to use Omnea and get control of their spend. This is why we're one of the fastest growing Series A B2B businesses in Europe, backed by tier-1 VCs like Accel, First Round, & Point Nine.
Welcome to Spend Control 2.0 — built for tougher times.
Overview
Get an inside look at how a high-performing tech startup operates: We've created this internship for exceptionally smart, motivated individuals who want to immerse themselves in the world of tech startups and gain real exposure to what it takes to keep a high-growth startup moving at speed. You’ll be embedded within an experienced, high-performing team, where your day-to-day will involve hands-on support across logistics, admin, events and internal operations. Beyond this, you'll have the opportunity to assist with projects spanning teams like GTM, Customer Success, and Finance or wherever an extra set of capable hands is needed. Along the way, you’ll gain practical insight into startup life and how different functions collaborate with one another.
Join us at a pivotal moment: We’ve just raised a $25M Series A backed by Accel, Point Nine, and 50+ leading founders and operators. This is a rare opportunity to learn first-hand from a uniquely high-performing team as we scale a category-defining tech startup at speed.
What this is, and what it’s not
This internship is intentionally unstructured and reactive: New priorities and challenges emerge constantly, so you’ll often be jumping in wherever help is most needed.
This internship is not a structured corporate-style training program: This just isn’t how startups operate! Rather than a polished training program, this internship is a versatile opportunity to observe, contribute, and learn within a real startup environment.
What You Can Expect
Operational Cadence: You’ll help handle the admin and logistics that free up our leaders to focus and enable the entire business to move faster.
Wide exposure: You'll assist with projects across Operations, GTM and Customer Success, gaining real visibility into how a startup runs behind the scenes.
Learn by doing: Get involved in a range of tasks - help with onboarding, audits, events, socials and scheduling.
Momentum: You’ll experience what it's like to scale a company just as we enter a phase of high growth, with the systems, challenges, and excitement that come with it.
About you
We’re looking for someone curious, proactive, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You might be a recent grad, early in your career or pivoting from a different field - what matters is your energy, problem-solving mindset, and desire to learn.
You’re organised and resourceful: you like systems, details, and getting things done well.
You’re exceptional at time management: you can comfortably manage changing priorities and are able to switch gears with ease.
You have a strong academic background: graduated from a top university with strong results and a clear drive to learn and push yourself.
You have some impressive experience: doesn’t need to be formal work experience, it could be launching a side hustle, building a society at university, running events, or anything that shows you’ve taken initiative and made something happen.
You communicate clearly and confidently: whether in writing or in person, you keep people informed and aligned.
You’re a people person: you’re just as comfortable chatting to a senior leader as you are with a new hire.
You thrive in fast-paced environments: you adapt quickly, handle ambiguity, and keep things moving forward.
You're excited about startups: not just as a job, but as an environment where you can learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and explore whether this is the kind of space you’re thinking of eventually building a career in.
You're based in London or nearby: this is a hybrid role (standardly 3 but sometimes 4 days a week in-person) in Victoria.
At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out.
A few things to note:
We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. At this early stage of our company life-cycle it's important to us that we get this together-time, and you can read more about why we believe this is a winning move here

We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you'd like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we'll take your application as confirmation that you're happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background).
