About the Job:
To lead marketing for YMPL through strategic planning & tactical interventions.
This role is at the intersection of brand, content, demand generation & product marketing, driving awareness & acquisition for YMPL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive acquisition of IFAs by generating top of the funnel interest through both digital & offline means
Collaborate with the sales team on the ground to influence middle & bottom of the funnel conversions.
Collaborate with product teams to proactively look at areas in the platform which can be enhanced / improved to drive user engagement.
Lead a team of tele-marketers to drive lead generation & qualification effectively and efficiently.
Build & manage the community of financial advisors & wealth managers
Manage the social media charter of YMPL to drive awareness & consideration for the brand / platform while growing the follower-based and enhancing engagement continuously.
Manage GTM for new & emerging solutions as part of the YMPL platform
Create engaging and compelling case studies & testimonials which feed into demand generation campaigns as well as the social media calendar.
Create and update sales enablement tools like decks, flyers, guides etc.
Periodically conduct customer & competition research through surveys, calls, meetings & crawling the web to derive actionable insights for business & product
Support the SEO goals of YMPL through the creation of relevant & required long / short form content
Support the PR mandate for YMPL by proactively looking for story / pitch ideas & complementing them with required content.
Create, publish & continuously track improvement areas for the periodic fixed income newsletter
Develop basic creatives / videos using design / video tools to bring alive created content in engaging formats.
Maintain MIS & periodically share required reports with actionable insights
Requirements
Experience: Demonstrated experience in B2B demand generation (read performance marketing), brand / content marketing, preferably within the financial services, fintech industry or a related field. Familiarity with investment products, such as mutual funds, equity, AIFs, debt instruments is highly desirable.
Marketing and Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Proficiency in developing marketing collateral, including but not limited to lead generation content, newsletters, case studies, social media posts, presentations, brochures, and web content.
Creative bent - Penchant for creativity while conceptualizing and bringing to life campaign, content & project ideas.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies. Proven experience in developing go-to-market plans and executing successful demand generation campaigns.
Market and Customer Focus: Basic understanding of the tech / fintech industry, market dynamics, and customer needs. Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable marketing initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment.
Analytical and Results-Oriented: Strong analytical skills to measure and interpret marketing campaign performance. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes. Able to deliver independently without the need for high-degree of supervision.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexibility to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing circumstances, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Unfazed by ambiguity and uses it to drive clarity across the board.
Marketing Tech Stack Exposure: Working knowledge / familiarity with tools like GA, Amplitude, Excel, CRM (Hubspot / Salesforce / Zoho / Netcore), Creative (Canva / Figma / Adobe Suite), Generative AI etc.
