Job Title: Legal Operations - Billing Specialist
We are hiring a Legal Operations – Billing Specialist based in Manila to join our Legal function. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Legal Operations and play a vital role in supporting global legal vendor invoice and purchase order management.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams, but will be embedded within the Legal department, serving as a key resource for ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, resolution of invoice inquiries, PO lifecycle tracking, and billing compliance across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Process, review, and validate legal vendor invoices for compliance with established billing guidelines
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order (PO) lifecycle for Legal, including PO creation, uplifts, and closure
- Serve as a liaison between Legal, Procurement, and Finance functions to resolve invoice or PO-related discrepancies
- Support the onboarding of new law firms and legal vendors into the billing and procurement systems
- Contribute to legal spend reporting, accrual submissions, and data validation in partnership with Legal Operations leadership
- Support special projects related to legal operations, billing process optimization, and vendor compliance
Skills
- Knowledgeable in Workday, Coupa, NetSuite or other ERP
- Proficient in MS applications, including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and with analytical ability
- Above average written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all departments and levels within the company
- Strong customer service and proactiveness
- Able to handle multiple tasks and follow detailed instructions with accuracy
- Ability to handle a high-volume, deadline driven environment
- Ability to work effectively with other team members
- Ability to adapt to change
- Results oriented with consistency, punctuality and can work with minimal supervision
- Good organization skills
- Can work on a flexible work arrangement and shifting schedules
Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience, preferably a graduate of BS Accountancy or any Finance-related Degree
Education: Preferably a graduate of BS Accountancy or any Business-related Degree
Other Requirements: Work experience in a multi-national and/or corporate legal department (preferred)
