Join Airtable’s Finance team as a Corporate Finance Analyst and play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across the company. You’ll support our FP&A function, partner with business leaders, and help scale our financial reporting and forecasting processes as we continue to grow. What you'll do
- Support company-wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Cost of Revenue, R&D, and G&A functions
- Partner with business leaders to track spend and provide actionable insights on operational efficiency
- Consolidate and validate headcount and OpEx planning inputs with department leads
- Build and maintain OpEx and headcount reporting dashboards for timely, accurate visibility into spend vs. budget
- Deliver monthly variance analysis reports highlighting key drivers and recommending cost-control measures
- Support quarterly forecasting by consolidating inputs into updated financial models
- Develop automated processes to reduce manual reporting effort
- Take ownership of recurring financial deliverables presented to senior finance leaders
- Produce scenario analyses to evaluate trade-offs in spend allocation, hiring, or investments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to track and present efficiency initiatives
- Lead improvements in forecasting accuracy and reporting toolkit scalability
- Provide ad hoc strategic analysis to inform long-term planning and executive decisions
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills, including dynamic models and scenario analysis
- Solid understanding of financial statements and ability to tie them to operating metrics
- Experience preparing management and executive-level reporting (variance analysis, OpEx tracking, dashboards)
- Familiarity with SaaS/technology business models and key SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin)
- Hands-on exposure to finance systems (ERP, planning software like Adaptive/Anaplan, or reporting tools)
- Comfort with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to analyze large datasets
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Exposure to process automation or scaling reporting workflows is a plus
