As a Strategic Solutions Consultant at PagerDuty, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our most strategic customers and prospects. You’ll partner with sales, customer success, and product teams to design and deliver solutions that drive business value, accelerate adoption, and help customers get the most out of PagerDuty’s platform.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with our strategic customers to understand their business challenges and map PagerDuty solutions to their desired business outcomes
- Lead discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and technical deep-dives
- Develop and present tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and value propositions
- Advise customers on best practices for incident response, digital operations, and service reliability
- Partner with sales and customer success to drive adoption, expansion, and renewals
- Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, clearly articulating value and ROI
- Contribute to sales strategy by identifying opportunities, influencing deal structure, and supporting the sales cycle from discovery to close
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and improve customer outcomes
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and PagerDuty’s evolving platform
About You
- 5+ years in a solutions consulting, pre-sales, technical account management, or similar customer-facing role
- Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or IT operations
- Proven ability to support and influence sales cycles, with a solid grasp of sales processes and customer buying journeys
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can translate technical concepts for any audience
- Experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex organizations
- Problem-solver with a consultative mindset and a passion for helping customers succeed
- Ability to travel as needed
Bonus Points
- Experience with PagerDuty or similar incident management platforms
- Familiarity with automation, observability, or ITSM tools
- Technical certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

The base salary range for this position is $$164,000.00 - $226,000.00 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
