We’re looking for a Billing and Deal Operations Specialist to join our team, someone who brings strong business judgment, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset. This person will be a critical member of a Finance/Accounting team that will help scale the company by building and fostering key business partnerships across the organization. In order to succeed in this position, you will be a team player, a problem solver and passionate about solving business and financial challenges. 
This role sits at the intersection of sales, billing, and customer operations. You’ll review deals and contracts, manage subscription and billing workflows in Zuora, and ensure that customers are set up for success from day one. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to balance structure with flexibility, knowing when to follow process and when to adapt to unique situations.
This is a remote position supporting a global team. Qualified candidates must live in Cebu or Manila. Responsibilities
- Deal & Contract Review:
- Review customer agreements to ensure deal terms align with company policies, pricing, and billing logic.
 
- Billing & Subscription Management:
- Provision and update customer accounts and subscriptions in Zuora.
- Validate billing details and handle adjustments, renewals, and amendments.
- Investigate and resolve billing or invoicing issues with accuracy and empathy.
 
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Customer Success teams to resolve deal or billing-related questions and ensure smooth handoffs.
 
- Process Execution & Improvement:
- Follow established processes while exercising judgment on when flexibility is needed.
- Identify areas for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 
- Customer Support & Communication:
- Address customer inquiries related to billing, subscriptions, or contract details.
- Escalate issues appropriately and communicate resolutions in a timely, professional manner.
 
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of all deal, billing, and subscription actions. Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
 
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Billing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar function.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, or other CRM systems, and Zuora, or a comparable billing/subscription management and platform (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret contractlanguage and apply business and billing logic.
- Strong customer service orientation, able to communicate clearly and put the customer’s needs first.
- Demonstrated adaptability: knows when to apply structure and when to adapt to unique situations.
- Coachable, open to feedback, and eager to learn new processes and tools.
- A self-starter who can identify problems, escalate appropriately, and drive resolutions.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
