About This Team:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to join our ibi WebFOCUS Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our flagship business intelligence and analytics WebFOCUS platform.  The ibi WebFOCUS platform helps organizations manage and use their data to make better decisions by providing tools for data access, integration, and analysis. The company provides solutions for industries like financial services, healthcare, government, and retail. 
 
About this Role:
The QA Engineer requires ~ 3-5 years experience working in an Agile testing environment. The Engineer will be responsible for both manual testing and automation development.  QA Engineer requires to have knowledge of web-based/backend applications and quick learner who can work well independently and as part of a team.  The goal of the QA Engineer is to ensure, sustain and release high quality products to our customers.
 
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and design specifications for New Feature testing and test case development
Participate in Feature Teams and Standups
Work as an extension of Product Managers/ Developers and provide feedback, suggestions and improvement recommendations of product functionality, design, etc.
Monitor and analyze automation test activities for assigned product areas
Logs, manages and tests defects in Bug tracking system
Analyzes, Executes and maintains manual test suites for assigned product areas
Works closely with Product Managers and Development teams
Implement manual test cases and automation test scripts for execution in daily builds
Ensure all SDLC requirements defined in the QA Testing Life Cycle are met
 
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years QA Testing Experience
Client/Server QA
Windows / Unix Knowledge
RDBMS - MSSQL / Oracle / DB2 / PostgreSQL etc..
Automation Experience (Selenium preferred)
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Agile / Scrum Experience
WebFOCUS Knowledge
