Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Implementation-focused Customer Success roles sit at a critical junction in SaaS: the handoff from purchase to realised value. In CorePlan’s case, that work happens in a vertical SaaS product modernising operational workflows in mining, where replacing spreadsheets and paper typically means higher-stakes change management and more complex rollout planning than many horizontal tools.
For a SaaS career, this kind of role builds durable experience in the mechanics of adoption—scoping, configuration, data migration, training, and post-go-live stabilisation. Those are the skills that translate across customer onboarding, professional services, solutions consulting, and customer success operations, especially in products that require structured implementations rather than self-serve activation. The emphasis on creating playbooks also signals exposure to repeatability—an important theme as SaaS teams mature and standardise delivery.
This position tends to suit professionals who prefer owning outcomes end-to-end and coordinating multiple stakeholders with clear communication. It aligns well with someone who enjoys combining project discipline with product curiosity, and who is comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across time zones. Experience in mining may help, but the core fit is an interest in complex SaaS deployments and long-term customer adoption.
