Senior Deal Desk Manager
Job Summary:
At Genesys, we’re transforming the customer experience landscape through empathy, innovation, and AI. The Senior Deal Desk Manager partners closely with Sales Leadership and regional Sales teams to guide and optimize sales transactions across Central and South America. This role ensures pricing, deal structure, and commercial terms align with company strategy while maximizing revenue and maintaining compliance. The position provides deep exposure to pricing strategy, deal financials, and contract negotiations, contributing directly to our mission of Experience as a Service℠.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support and enable the team to lead commercial discussions on deals in collaboration with Sales Leadership, account teams, and other Genesys functions.
· Review and approve deal terms in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring accurate documentation across quotes and contracts.
· Lead communications and manage approval exceptions with relevant stakeholders, including members of the Genesys Leadership Team (GLT).
· Oversee and coordinate the contract negotiation process between the business, Legal, and customers or partners.
· Negotiate commercial and contractual deal elements with customers to drive favorable outcomes.
· Develop and execute statistical and financial reports to support global Deal Desk operations.
· Contribute to margin and pricing tool development alongside other cross-functional teams.
· Build a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs to influence commercial strategy.
· Support transformation initiatives related to Deal Desk operations, focusing on price realization and quote-to-cash improvements in partnership with Sales Operations, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Product teams.
Key Requirements:
· Based in or able to work Colombia and Chile business hours.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SaaS (Sales Finance, Revenue Accounting, or Deal Desk), including at least 2 years in a Deal Desk role.
· Strong understanding of software pricing, discounting, and revenue recognition concepts.
· Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an advantage.
· Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· Proven experience handling large-scale transactions under tight deadlines.
· Highly collaborative, energetic, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to driving outcomes.
