Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Olo operates a high-volume SaaS platform embedded in restaurant commerce, where product adoption and customer retention depend on dependable internal operations as much as feature delivery. A Benefits Analyst role sits in that often-overlooked layer of SaaS execution: keeping the employee experience consistent while the company supports distributed work and ongoing hiring. In subscription businesses, that operational reliability matters because it underpins predictable delivery for customers.
For a SaaS career path, this position offers durable exposure to how people operations scales alongside a platform business. The work touches cross-functional stakeholders (People, Finance, Legal) and requires fluency in systems, audits, and annual cycles such as open enrollment—experience that translates across most SaaS environments. It also builds a practical understanding of how policy, compliance, and process design intersect with headcount growth and organizational change.
This role tends to suit someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, clear service ownership, and improving workflows without needing constant visibility. It fits professionals who want to deepen benefits administration expertise while learning how internal programs are run in a remote-friendly SaaS organization, and who are comfortable collaborating across functions to resolve issues with precision.
