Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This senior frontend infrastructure role sits at a mature, high-scale SaaS platform where the browser is a primary operational surface, not a marketing layer. The remit—UI foundations for authentication and authorization—maps to a core product capability that every enterprise SaaS depends on, and it becomes more complex as usage grows and access patterns diversify. The listing’s emphasis on massive event volumes and evergreen-browser support signals a product environment where frontend decisions are shaped by reliability, security boundaries, and data-heavy interaction patterns.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable leverage: creating shared UI patterns, improving developer experience, and shaping architecture that other product teams build on. Experience integrating single-page applications with internal and external APIs, plus attention to accessibility and performance, translates across SaaS categories because it reflects how modern subscription products maintain quality while shipping continuously. Cross-functional collaboration with product, design, QA, and cloud engineering also mirrors how SaaS orgs coordinate platform work that affects many surfaces.
This role is best suited to an engineer who prefers platform-minded frontend work—owning standards, tooling, and long-lived components—while still staying close to user-facing outcomes. It fits someone comfortable operating in a distributed setup and influencing priorities across stakeholders, with enough seniority to guide architectural choices and raise the baseline for other engineers.

Job Description
As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About the Role:
As a UI Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for the Falcon platform. You will provide a high quality user experience that our customers around the world use 24x7 to protect their systems from the most sophisticated adversaries.
Our JavaScript framework is Ember, but if you've used React, Angular, or Vue.js, you'll feel right at home, and we’ll help you get comfortable with both Ember and our codebase. Since we only support evergreen browsers, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web platform while working with truly massive amounts of data. Our ideal candidates are sensitive to the needs of the users and love to find solutions in a unique and dynamic problem space. We’re a highly collaborative and friendly group that prizes collaboration over competition. We provide opportunities to learn new skills, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to the direction of both the team and the products for which we’re responsible. We work in a distributed, remote-first, high-trust environment where you manage your own time and have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for taking full ownership of the delivery of our products, driving the technical aspects, helping the team to define the architecture and coordinating with stakeholders in terms of scope and priorities.
About our Group:
You’ll be joining the frontend team in the Platform group that is responsible for authentication and authorization. The auth team is responsible for both internal- and external-facing pages. The team is a critical part of CrowdStrike, frequently working collaboratively with many other product groups. As a UI contributor on this team, you'll not only create nuanced, complex table views but also design new components and management features, helping us iterate towards constantly improving the user experience.
What You’ll Do:
Be an energetic self-starter with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables
Work as part of a distributed team of remote workers across time zones
Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js
Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of your fellow UX Engineers
Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience
Collaborate with fellow UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, UX Writers, Technical Writers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and others
Have fun working cross-functionally and solving hard problems
What You’ll Need:
Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or commensurate professional experience)
8+ years of UI development experience
Strong foundations and experience with (HTML, CSS, JS) and web frameworks
Knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and comfortable working remotely
Experience integrating frontend applications with internal and external APIs
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g. Ember CLI, Webpack, etc.)
Familiarity with Playwright
Experience with API development
Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization
Experience with web accessibility testing and support
Prior experience building enterprise software as a service
