About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Payroll & Compliance Specialist to run Apna’s multi-business vertical payroll operations (FTE + FTC) with accuracy, speed, and compliance excellence. This role demands deep understanding of PAN-India statutory compliance, strong financial discipline, and the ability to partner with HR, Finance, and Business teams.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end Payroll processing for FTE & FTC workforce across multiple business verticals.
- Maintain 100% statutory compliance (PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
- Manage Payroll Helpdesk, drive SLA adherence & query resolution.
- Own Benefits Administration (insurance, reimbursements, flex benefits).
- Ensure accurate HRIS & payroll records, audits & payroll controls.
- Prepare monthly MIS, variance reports, finance dashboards.
- Strong hands-on reporting using Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, formulas).
- Liaise with Finance for payroll inputs, JV posting, and reconciliations.
