Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Technical Sourcer contract role is notable in SaaS because it sits at the point where product ambition meets execution capacity: engineering hiring. In subscription businesses, headcount planning and time-to-hire directly influence roadmap delivery, reliability work, and platform investments. The remit spans both high-volume pipelines and highly specialised searches, signalling a hiring environment where prioritisation and market awareness matter as much as outbound activity.
For a SaaS-focused career, the work builds durable strengths in funnel design, talent mapping, and the use of recruiting data to diagnose constraints. The emphasis on creating repeatable programs—referral drives, nurture campaigns, and process improvements—translates well across SaaS companies that need scalable hiring motions rather than one-off sourcing wins. Exposure to modern tooling and structured metrics also aligns with how contemporary SaaS teams operationalise recruiting.
This role suits a sourcer who prefers partnering tightly with recruiters and hiring managers, iterating on messaging, and working from measurable signals rather than intuition. It will fit someone comfortable switching between broad searches and niche technical profiles, and who values craft in written outreach and candidate engagement within a remote US context.

Job Description
As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and engage top talent for our engineering teams. You'll be empowered to build a top-of-funnel strategy, design and implement recruiting programs, and identify process improvements to build a world-class recruiting practice.
What you'll do
- Design creative top-of-funnel strategies and build trusted partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers.
- Generate and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. We are looking for Technical Sourcers who can flex between high volume pipelines and niche specialized roles.
- Use talent maps, data, and funnel metrics to inform your sourcing strategy and proactively identify bottlenecks in the search.
- Effectively pitch passive talent on the Airtable opportunity through tailored, creative messaging and conversation.
- Prioritize building a diverse team at every step of the recruiting process, ensuring our top-of-funnel efforts and interviews provide candidates of all backgrounds with equal, unbiased consideration and opportunity.
- Organize recruiting initiatives to generate leads (such as referral drives, nurture campaigns, events), and build processes to help the team scale the way we engage passive talent.
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in technical sourcing, specifically building high volume pipelines for software engineering.
- Your written and verbal communication is one of your most salient strengths.
- You’re a proactive self-starter who navigates ambiguity with ease.
- You’re familiar with sourcing tools & platforms like LinkedIn, Gem, and Greenhouse and you’re energized by new technologies that can superpower your workflow (Airtable, AI, etc).
- You’re results-oriented and always eager to get things done, but never at the cost of a thoughtful or strategic approach.
- You’re data-oriented and have a strong attention to detail; not only are you comfortable pulling data and metrics, you’re also able to tell the story behind the data.
- You’re team oriented; you care about our goals as an organization, enable others to do their best work, and love working together to come up with the best solutions.
- You’re insatiably curious and a lifelong learner, always seeking to improve your craft and to learn everything there is to know about the company, the teams you partner with, the market, recruiting... you know you are never done learning and invest in the journey!
What we offer
