Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
In SaaS, “supply chain” often means the external data and service ecosystem that a product depends on to deliver consistent outcomes. This role stands out because it sits at the intersection of vendor and court partnerships, operational reliability, and strategic alignment—work that directly influences how a SaaS platform maintains coverage, quality, and continuity for customers.
For a long-term SaaS career, the position offers durable experience in building partner operating models: negotiating contracts with performance standards, running quarterly business reviews, and using metrics to drive accountability. The emphasis on incident response and risk mitigation reflects a core SaaS reality—third-party dependencies can become product issues—while the connection to Product and Engineering provides exposure to how external partner insights translate into roadmap and R&D decisions.
This role is best suited to professionals who enjoy structured, cross-functional leadership and can balance relationship management with rigorous operational follow-through. It will fit someone ready to operate as a senior point of coordination across procurement, strategy, and technical stakeholders, and who prefers work where progress is measured through partner performance, governance cadence, and measurable service outcomes rather than one-off deals.
