Marketing Business Sr. Analyst
Summary:
Marketing Business Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, and operational process improvements with the Demand Generation organization. This role ensures effective spend governance, delivers financial insights, and partners closely with cross-functional teams to improve marketing efficiency and business impact.
In addition, the role provides support for partner marketing fund (MDF) processes by helping review, track, and reconcile program activities. The analyst ensures accuracy ofrecords, alignment with internal policies, and smooth coordination across marketing, finance, accounting, and procurement stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a coachable mindset, a strong desire to learn and grow over time, strong analytical skills,discipline and attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage budgets and forecasts for marketing programs and spend optimization.
Track spend pacing, analyze variances, and provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Partner with Accounting, Finance, Procurement on accruals, reconciliation, and period-close activities, ensuring compliance with financial policies and audit requirements.
Coordinate with regional marketing teams to confirm campaign details, documentation, proof of execution, and supporting financial materials.
Assist with requisition creation, purchase order tracking, invoice processing, and issue resolution with procurement and vendor management.
Support intake, validation, and tracking of partner marketing fund (MDF) requests, ensuring complete submissions and alignment with program guidelines.
Support claim submissions and reimbursement processes for partner-funded programs and ensure accurate reconciliation to regional budgets.
Contribute to process improvements and standardization across spend management workflows.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, marketing finance, FP&A, business analysis, or marketing operations.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret financial and performance data.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across marketing, accounting, finance, procurement, and operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and attention to detail.
Experience in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple priorities.
