Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Solutions Engineer role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of internal platform engineering and the operational realities of delivering a cloud analytics service. The focus on ingesting and managing high-volume machine log data points to a product domain where reliability, observability, and secure infrastructure design are core to customer outcomes, not background concerns.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work maps closely to the “run and improve” loop that mature subscription businesses depend on: standardising infrastructure through automation, embedding security and compliance guardrails, and tightening cost controls across hybrid environments. Experience spanning identity, networking, IaC, CI/CD, and systems integrations builds a portfolio that transfers well across SaaS companies that operate 24x7 services and need disciplined, repeatable operations as they scale.
The position is best suited to an engineer who prefers ownership of end-to-end solutions over narrow task execution, and who enjoys partnering across IT and adjacent teams to land pragmatic designs. It will fit someone comfortable balancing architectural thinking with hands-on implementation, including the accountability that comes with on-call coverage for enterprise systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience implementing robust and well-architected designs for enterprise scale systems
- Experience and comfort with an on-call schedule for enterprise systems during daylight hours regional time
