Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Truework operates as an independent product line within Checkr following an acquisition, a structure that is increasingly common in SaaS as larger platforms incubate focused businesses. For SaaS professionals, that “embedded but autonomous” setup is notable because it typically blends startup-style iteration with the operational expectations of a scaled parent. The domain—automated verification for lending and screening—also sits at the intersection of SaaS, data workflows, and regulated customer environments.
From a career-building perspective, Solutions Engineering in this context develops a durable SaaS skill set: translating complex customer processes into product-aligned solution designs, running proof-of-value work, and shaping how a platform is positioned in high-stakes buying committees. The role’s exposure to large enterprise-style accounts (top lender segment) can strengthen discovery, storytelling, and stakeholder management—capabilities that transfer across B2B SaaS categories where technical credibility influences revenue.
This role tends to fit an experienced sales engineering profile that prefers being close to revenue outcomes while staying technically grounded. It will appeal to professionals who like pattern-mapping customer workflows, handling compliance-oriented questions with clarity, and feeding structured insights back into product direction. It also suits someone comfortable working across Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Product without owning a single lane end-to-end.
