Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
GTM Engineering has become a distinct function in modern SaaS because revenue performance increasingly depends on the quality of systems, data, and automation behind Sales and Growth. This role sits at that intersection, focused on turning real-world funnel complexity—routing, attribution, forecasting, tooling—into repeatable infrastructure. In a category like embedded finance, where product adoption and compliance-driven buying cycles can add nuance to pipeline management, the operational layer matters as much as the message.
For a SaaS career, the long-term value is the blend of technical problem-solving and commercial context. Owning CRM architecture, data models, and workflow automation builds a durable skill set that translates across B2B SaaS: instrumentation, lifecycle design, and the ability to make GTM motions measurable. The emphasis on experimentation support also develops a practical understanding of how teams iterate on ICP, outbound, and pricing without degrading reporting integrity.
This role best suits a technical operator who prefers systems thinking over one-off fixes and enjoys partnering closely with stakeholders across Sales and Growth. It aligns with someone who wants ownership over foundational GTM mechanics, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and is motivated by precision—where small process changes can materially improve conversion and visibility.

ABOUT UNIT
Unit is a market leader in embedded finance. We offer ready-to-launch financial services - like banking and capital - and serve millions of end-users across ~100 customers, including Wix, Honeybook, Relay, and more.
We’re repeat founders with technical backgrounds, working hard to build a successful company that we’re proud to work at. Our product moves $40b+ annually and processes 12m+ API calls daily. We’ve raised $160m+ from top investors including Insight, Accel, and 60+ angels.
The Role
We are seeking a GTM Engineer to join Unit at a critical inflection point as we scale our go-to-market engine. Embedded finance is still early, and winning this category requires not just great sales and marketing, but world-class systems, data, and execution underneath them.
As a GTM Engineer, you will own the technical and operational foundations of Unit’s revenue engine. You will work alongside Sales and Growth to design, build, and scale the systems that power our GTM motion - from lead routing and attribution to automation, enrichment, experimentation, and forecasting.
You will operate as a technical generalist inside GTM: writing logic, building workflows, integrating tools, modeling data, and turning messy real-world processes into scalable, resilient systems. Your work will directly determine how fast Unit can grow and how efficiently we convert market demand into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical foundations of Unit’s GTM engine. Design, build, and maintain the systems that power lead flow, pipeline management, forecasting, attribution, and reporting across Sales & Growth.
Architect scalable revenue workflows. Build automation and logic for lead enrichment, scoring, routing, sequencing triggers, handoffs, and lifecycle management. Reduce manual work and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Partner deeply with Sales and Growth teams. Work side-by-side with operators to translate GTM strategy into systems and execution. Rapidly iterate based on feedback from the field.
Drive data integrity, instrumentation, and insight. Own CRM architecture, data models, attribution frameworks, dashboards, and reporting. Ensure leadership has clear, trustworthy visibility into funnel performance and revenue health.
Enable experimentation and speed. Build infrastructure that allows GTM teams to test new motions quickly - new ICPs, outbound strategies, campaigns, pricing tests - without breaking core systems.
Own GTM tooling and integrations. Evaluate, implement, and connect best-in-class tools across CRM, enrichment, automation, outbound, analytics, and experimentation (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, etc.).
Lay foundations for long-term scale. Anticipate future complexity and design systems that scale with the business - from dozens to hundreds of customers, reps, and partners.
What we’re looking for
2–6+ years of experience in RevOps, GTM Engineering, Sales Ops, Growth Ops, Analytics, or a technical operator role inside a high-growth B2B company.
You have strong technical instincts: you’re comfortable working with CRMs, data models, automation tools, APIs, spreadsheets, and light scripting or SQL.
You think in systems, not band-aids. You enjoy designing durable solutions to messy, real-world problems.
You’re commercially minded and understand how GTM teams actually work - not just how tools are “supposed” to work.
You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and don’t need permission to improve broken processes.
You take pride in precision, reliability, and leverage - small changes that unlock massive downstream impact.
Strong communicator who can work with sales reps, growth leaders, operators, and executives alike.
Nice to have
Experience building GTM systems from scratch or through rapid scale.
Familiarity with modern GTM stacks (Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Outreach, Segment, Looker, etc.).
-
Background in fintech, SaaS, or infrastructure businesses.
