Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Content Designer role stands out in SaaS because it treats language as product infrastructure, not polish. With Spotify operating at subscription scale and spanning mobile, desktop, partner, voice, and AI-supported surfaces, the work is inherently systems-oriented: content patterns, editorial logic, and interaction behaviors that need to remain coherent across many entry points and evolving interfaces.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit builds durable expertise in designing for consistency, governance, and iteration—skills that translate across product-led companies where onboarding, guidance, and trust are shaped by microcopy and system feedback. The emphasis on frameworks, taxonomy, and supervision of AI-generated output also aligns with where SaaS is heading: hybrid experiences where content must be designed to work with automation while staying accurate and accessible.
This position suits experienced practitioners who prefer ambiguous, cross-surface problems over single-feature UX writing. It will fit someone comfortable partnering with product and design peers, using principles and testing to make decisions, and maintaining a high bar for clarity and responsibility when content becomes part of adaptive, AI-influenced product behavior.

Job Description
Help design how Spotify communicates, guides, and supports listeners through intelligent, intuitive experiences. We are seeking a Senior Content Designer to craft the language, systems, and behaviors that define how people interact with Spotify’s AI-powered and traditional product surfaces.
This role sits at the intersection of language, interaction, and adaptive technology. You’ll craft experiences that feel clear, warm, and unmistakably Spotify — whether through system messages, guidance flows, dynamic interfaces, or emerging AI features. The work you do will influence how our products speak, respond, and evolve across millions of moments every single day.
Whether your background is in Content Design, UX Writing, Product Design, or Systems Design, you’ll have space to explore innovative ways to develop robust editorial models, and help define the next generation of content-led experiences at Spotify.

What You'll Do- Craft world-class content design for our mobile and partner experiences.
- Define the frameworks, patterns, and editorial logic that guide content across Spotify’s product landscape.
- Build scalable systems that bring clarity and coherence to multi-surface experiences — from mobile and desktop to voice and AI-supported interactions.
- Evaluate content through a lens of accuracy, clarity, inclusivity, and ethical responsibility. Hold a high bar for tone, taxonomy, structure, and narrative coherence. Contribute to systems and processes that help teams supervise and improve AI-generated output over time, ensuring it remains safe, reliable, and aligned with Spotify’s values.
- Work with cross-functional partners to test ideas, explore new techniques, and strengthen our shared craft. You’ll help teams build confidence in content-led decision making, share insights, and contribute to a culture that values thoughtful, human-centered communication.
Who You Are- An expert content designer who has built content within digital products, ideally across sophisticated, multi-modal systems.
- Good understanding of how language influences user experience and system responses, and you’re comfortable crafting for environments where logic, interaction, and narrative intersect.
- Ability to collaborate well within multidisciplinary teams and bring a curious, inclusive mentality to solving problems.
- Care deeply about clarity, accessibility, and crafting experiences that support users of many backgrounds and needs.
- Energized by evolving spaces — from AI-supported interfaces to new patterns for guiding global audiences — and you bring structure, insight, and creativity to emerging challenges.
Where You'll Be- This role is based in London or Stockholm.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
