Senior Frontend Engineer - AI & Integration Team
Prague, Czech Republic | NeoLoad Engineering
We're building the future of performance testing. NeoLoad helps enterprises test at scale - think Black Friday traffic, mission-critical banking systems, global SaaS platforms. Our customers depend on us to ensure their applications won't fail when millions of users hit them simultaneously.
You'll join our Prague engineering team working on two cutting-edge product streams: AI-powered testing capabilities and enterprise integrations.
What You'll Actually Do
Product Engineering - Not just implementing tickets. You'll work directly with Product and UX from discovery through delivery. We expect you to push back, propose better solutions, and own outcomes - not just output.
Technical Ownership - Design and build React-based UIs that make complex performance data understandable. Work with our Java 21 backend and OpenAPI specs. Shape our frontend architecture decisions.
AI Integration - Our AI stream is experimenting with LLM-powered features. You'll help figure out what works, what doesn't, and how to build UIs that make AI capabilities feel natural, not gimmicky.
Team Growth - Coach engineers, run code reviews, share knowledge. We value teaching as much as coding.
Cross-Team Collaboration - 10% travel to France to work with our broader engineering org. Remote collaboration is the default, face-time is intentional.
What We're Looking For
Experience that matters:
5+ years building complex web applications
Strong TypeScript/React experience (we care more about how you think than specific years)
Deep understanding of HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals - you know when to reach for which tool
Experience with build pipelines and frontend tooling
Track record of shipping quality code and influencing engineering practices
Product mindset:
You ask "why are we building this?" before "how should we build this?"
Comfortable with ambiguity and change - we pivot when we learn we're wrong
Strong opinions, loosely held
You've worked in agile teams where iteration speed matters
Pragmatic approach:
Will pick up new tech when needed (recent example: our team evaluated 3 different AI UI frameworks in 2 weeks)
Balance between perfect and shipped
Can explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
Why This Role
Technical challenges - Performance testing at enterprise scale creates unique frontend problems. How do you visualize millions of requests? How do you make complex test configurations feel simple?
Real impact - Our customers include Fortune 500 companies. Your work directly affects whether their critical systems stay online.
Growth trajectory - Part of a $400M ARR company that's investing heavily in AI and modernization. Plenty of room to grow into tech lead, principal engineer, or management if that's your path.
Modern stack - React, TypeScript, Java 21, OpenAPI, cloud platforms. We're not maintaining legacy tech, we're building new products.
Prague tech scene - Join our established engineering hub. Great quality of life, strong local tech community, competitive compensation.
Team culture - We value direct feedback (Radical Candor style), ownership, and shipping. Less corporate theatre, more getting things done.
The Team
You'll be part of the Prague NeoLoad engineering organization, working closely with our France-based teams. We run experiments, make data-driven decisions, and aren't afraid to kill ideas that don't work. Everyone from junior to director writes code and reviews PRs.
You can look forward to:
Flexible working schedule (no core hours)
Learning and career growth opportunities
25 days of paid time off
3 Sick Days
4 days of paid Volunteering Leave per year to get involved in your local community or in a cause that matters to you
Hybrid work environment, with home-office allowance
Meal allowance
Pension Contribution
Life & Disability Insurance
Paid Sickness leave
A team of passionate professionals who are experts in their fields
