Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Strategic Partner Development Manager role sits at a key intersection of modern SaaS: platform ecosystems, data collaboration, and partner-led distribution. With Snowflake’s Data Cloud positioning built around secure data and application sharing, the role reflects how leading cloud companies increasingly grow through two‑sided marketplaces and ISV alliances rather than direct sales alone—particularly in a regionally focused ANZ remit.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable operating skills in ecosystem GTM: creating joint plans, aligning sales and technical stakeholders, and translating partner activity into measurable pipeline and KPI reporting. Experience coordinating co-selling motions, QBR cadences, and executive relationships is highly portable across SaaS businesses that depend on alliances to expand product reach, accelerate adoption, and deepen platform value.
This position is best suited to professionals who prefer influence-through-alignment over single-threaded ownership, and who are comfortable working across matrixed teams with clear commercial accountability. It will fit someone motivated by structured partnership management, executive stakeholder communication, and the mechanics of scaling repeatable partner motions within a cloud platform context.
