Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Product Designer cover role stands out in SaaS because it sits on a mature, AI-enabled platform used by operational teams rather than consumer end users. Designing for public-transport planning and scheduling implies complex workflows, high-stakes decisions, and a product surface area where consistency and clarity matter as much as visual polish—hallmarks of enterprise SaaS design.
For a SaaS-focused designer, the work signals strong exposure to the mechanics that make subscription products durable: collaborating tightly with product and engineering, validating decisions through research and testing, and contributing to a design system that supports scalability. Experience shaping end-to-end solutions in a complex platform environment tends to transfer well across B2B SaaS categories where users depend on reliability, discoverability, and efficient task completion.
This is best suited to a designer who is comfortable stepping into an established product context, quickly building shared understanding with cross-functional partners, and making pragmatic decisions within a defined time horizon. It also fits someone who enjoys systems thinking—mapping journeys, iterating with evidence, and leaving behind reusable patterns—while working in a hybrid setup anchored in the San Sebastian area.
