Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Cloud Security Engineer roles are increasingly central in SaaS, where customer trust depends on resilient, well governed cloud foundations. This listing stands out for its explicit focus on securing infrastructure across both AWS and Azure, alongside security capabilities that sit close to the product surface such as authentication, authorization, and audit logging. That combination signals work that connects platform engineering with the security expectations typical of modern SaaS deployments.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit offers durable experience in building repeatable security controls rather than one off fixes. Working with cloud native services, log and metric driven detection, and IAM and encryption patterns develops a toolkit that transfers across subscription software companies operating at scale. The emphasis on documentation and enabling other teams also aligns with how security programs mature inside SaaS organisations, where influence and clarity are as important as implementation.
This role fits engineers who enjoy pairing hands on engineering with security ownership, and who can move between deep technical detail and stakeholder communication. It will suit someone comfortable collaborating across functions and shaping standards, while still writing code to deliver security features. A hybrid setup in Bangalore also suggests a working style that benefits from regular in person design and review cycles.
