Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Sales Development Representative role sits at the front end of SaaS revenue creation, where pipeline quality is shaped long before an account executive conversation. In a data resilience and backup context, prospecting tends to be consultative and tied to real operational risk, making outreach less about generic volume and more about identifying use cases, stakeholders, and timing across a defined territory.
For SaaS career development, the role builds durable fundamentals in modern go to market execution: territory planning, disciplined activity tracking in a CRM, and the habit of turning product narratives into relevant first conversations. Exposure to lead discovery tools, KPI driven operating rhythms, and collaboration with sales colleagues mirrors how many SaaS companies industrialise demand generation as they scale.
It best suits someone who enjoys structured outreach, is comfortable learning a technical domain at a practical level, and takes satisfaction in clean process and follow through. The German and English requirement signals a role designed for cross border selling, which can appeal to early career commercial talent aiming to develop multilingual pipeline skills within a global SaaS environment.
