The People Partner is responsible for supporting HR activities and acting as a key point of contact for HR matters within the Czech Republic. This role supports the implementation of people strategies, ensures compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, and assists with the execution of global HR initiatives on a country-specific level. The position requires a good understanding of the Czech employment landscape and experience supporting HR processes in a business environment. The People Partner will collaborate closely with another HR Business Partner based in the Czech Republic to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices.

What you´ll do:
1. Local Labour Legislation & Compliance
- Advise managers and team leads on Czech labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies to ensure legal compliance.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures at the country level.
- Stay up to date with changes in Czech labor law and support the company’s compliance with statutory provisions.
- Assist with employee relations cases and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
2. Support for People Managers
- Assist people managers with employee life-cycle activities (e.g., compensation reviews, performance evaluations, hiring, and data management).
- Help coordinate relocation activities when needed.
- Support the rollout of global People & Culture programs and initiatives within the Czech team.
- Contribute to employee engagement and workplace satisfaction initiatives.
- Monitor and report on basic HR metrics, trends, and risks relevant to the country.
3. Collaboration
- Work closely and collaboratively with another HR Business Partner based in the Czech Republic to ensure consistent application of HR policies, share knowledge and best practices, and coordinate on HR projects and initiatives.
What you´ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (HR certification or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Czech labor law and HR best practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting managers and employees in HR matters
- Attention to detail and accuracy in execution
- Previous experience in a multinational or matrixed company is an advantage
- Fluent in English and Czech
