Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Harvey operates as an enterprise AI SaaS platform selling into legal and professional services, which makes the legal function unusually product-adjacent. In this context, a Legal Intern role sits close to how AI capabilities become contract terms, partnership structures, and compliant commercial motions, rather than being limited to traditional corporate housekeeping.
For a SaaS career, the standout value is early exposure to the mechanics of monetising software in regulated, high-trust environments. Work that touches commercial SaaS agreements, data and AI provisions, and partner programs builds a practical understanding of recurring-revenue risk allocation, procurement expectations, and how platform companies scale globally. The option to engage with AI-assisted workflows also reflects a broader SaaS trend: internal teams operationalising automation, not only shipping it to customers.
This role tends to fit someone who wants an in-house vantage point on how SaaS companies translate product strategy into enforceable commitments. It will suit candidates comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders and iterating on processes, and those curious about the intersection of legal craft, partnerships, and applied AI inside a software business.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships and drive urgency through collaboration.
Interest in technology and innovation; prior AI experience is welcomed but not required.
