Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Director, Sales role sits squarely in the enterprise SaaS motion, where repeatable revenue depends on disciplined execution across account executives, sales engineering, and inside sales. The remit combines leadership of a defined regional patch with the operational levers that matter in subscription businesses, including forecasting rigor and coordination with Finance.
From a SaaS career perspective, the position offers exposure to the management systems that separate individual performance from team-level outcomes. Owning day-to-day regional operations, enablingment, and performance management builds transferable capability in scaling commercial teams, aligning pipeline quality to targets, and translating product complexity for IT Ops and DevOps buying centers. The emphasis on accurate forecasting and P&L partnership also strengthens the operator mindset valued in later-stage SaaS leadership roles.
This role is best suited to a sales leader who prefers coaching experienced enterprise sellers while staying close to active deals and planning. It will fit professionals who enjoy working across functions, balancing field execution with process, and who are comfortable leading in environments where technical credibility and structured management practices are both central to results.
