Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Program Manager role sits in a mature SaaS environment where product usage data and customer journey analytics are central to how teams operate. In that context, “business transformation” typically means aligning systems, process, and operating rhythms so the company can execute consistently across Product, GTM, and internal functions. The remit described is less about owning a single project and more about creating the connective tissue that keeps enterprise initiatives moving and measurable.
For a SaaS career, the standout value is repeatable exposure to portfolio governance and change adoption, two disciplines that become increasingly important as SaaS companies scale beyond founder-led execution. The work touches quarterly planning, dependency management, executive reporting, and enablement alignment, all transferable skills across SaaS operators roles. Building strength in translating strategy into operating plans and in maintaining an execution cadence is especially relevant in subscription businesses where priorities shift with retention, expansion, and product evolution.
This role fits professionals who prefer structured problem solving, clear artifacts, and accountability mechanisms, and who are comfortable influencing without formal authority. It also suits program leaders who enjoy synthesizing complex inputs into decision-ready narratives and who want proximity to senior stakeholders while staying anchored in delivery fundamentals.

As a Program Manager & Project Manager, Business Transformation, you will:
Strategic Program & Portfolio Execution
- Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned business transformation programs, from planning through execution, launch, and sustained adoption.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear program plans, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Help manage weekly top program health tracking progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes across workstreams.
- Drive cross-functional execution without direct authority, ensuring momentum and follow-through.
Delivery Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Actively support and evolve Amplitude’s Delivery Excellence practices, including intake, prioritization, planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery predictability, clarity, and execution rigor across the transformation portfolio.
- Standardize and maintain program artifacts such as plans, RAID logs, timelines, and status reporting.
Annual & Quarterly Planning
- Partner with Business Transformation leadership, Product Owners, and functional teams to support annual and quarterly project and systems planning.
- Help translate company priorities into an executable portfolio roadmap with clear sequencing and resourcing visibility.
- Ensure alignment across initiatives, surfacing tradeoffs and dependencies early.
Reporting & Executive Visibility
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reporting for executive audiences.
- Create clear, concise updates that highlight progress, risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
- Synthesize complex information into executive-ready narratives and dashboards.
Program Communications & Enablement
- Lead internal business transformation communications for assigned programs, including program updates, launch communications, and ongoing change messaging.
- Partner closely with Enablement teams to ensure programs are launch-ready and field-ready.
- Ensure enablement plans, timelines, and materials are aligned to program milestones and business outcomes.
Stakeholder & Executive Partnership
- Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, product owners as well as CE, helping drive alignment and accountability across teams.
- Facilitate program meetings, capture decisions and action items, and ensure closure.
- Anticipate risks and proactively escalate issues with thoughtful options and recommendations.
You’ll be a great addition to the team if you:
- 6+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Business Operations, or Business Transformation roles.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
- Strong project management fundamentals with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for executives, operators, and the field.
- Experience partnering with Enablement, Operations, or GTM teams to support launches and adoption is a strong plus.
Personality Traits
- Extreme ownership: Takes full accountability for outcomes, not just activities.
- Organized & detail-driven: Brings clarity and rigor to complex, ambiguous work.
- Calm & steady: Maintains composure and execution discipline under pressure.
- Low-ego, high-impact: Measures success by the effectiveness of the team and the business, not personal visibility.
