Job Description
About the Role & Team
Amplitude is looking for a Workplace Lead to own the day-to-day operations of our San Francisco office and drive exceptional workplace experiences that reflect and amplify our mission, values, and culture. This role is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for creating spaces that inspire.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, champion hospitality-driven experiences, and ensure our physical environments support connection, productivity, and inclusion. While Amplitude supports a dynamic, hybrid workforce, this role is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, in our San Francisco office.
As a Workplace Lead, you will:

Own daily office operations – Maintain a clean, functional, and welcoming workplace experience for employees and visitors alike

Curate onsite programs & events – Partner with internal teams to support events and initiatives that bring our culture to life for both in-person and distributed teams

Serve as the face of the office – Manage front desk operations including reception, visitor management, shipping/receiving, and badging

Maintain facilities excellence – Conduct routine office walkthroughs, submit/manage maintenance tickets, and liaise with building management and vendors (janitorial, F&B, security, etc.)

Manage workplace systems – Oversee ticketing tools and respond to ad hoc requests via Slack or other channels

Handle workplace logistics – Manage office supplies, room bookings, inventory, and vendor coordination to ensure operational readiness

Support budget & compliance – Track and manage workplace budgets while ensuring adherence to safety, security, and health protocols

Extend support remotely – Provide light-touch operational support for our Vancouver, B.C. WeWork location
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or related roles

Self-starter with a bias for action and a knack for solving problems independently

Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to create positive, high-touch experiences

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail

Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Envoy, Zoom, and facilities/ticketing platforms

Availability for onsite support in San Francisco,

M–F, 8am–5pm, with occasional after-hours flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing office relocations, construction, or capital projects

This role is eligible for benefits and other forms of compensation. Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $90,000 - $136,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
