Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Partner Development sits at the center of how many SaaS platforms scale distribution, especially in enterprise cloud categories where systems integrators and resellers shape buying decisions. In Snowflake’s Data and AI Cloud context, the partner motion is not a side channel but a primary route to adoption, implementation, and ongoing consumption, making this role a meaningful lever in the broader SaaS ecosystem.
For SaaS professionals, this remit builds durable skills in ecosystem design and partner-led go to market execution. Managing joint business plans, pipeline creation, and enablement with GSIs and regional SIs translates across cloud software companies that rely on services partners to land and expand accounts. The work also sharpens commercial judgment around metrics like net new customers and annual contract value, while developing fluency in aligning incentives across multiple organizations.
This role suits someone who prefers influence through orchestration rather than direct ownership of delivery, and who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and “coopetition” with external stakeholders. It is a strong fit for a commercially minded operator who enjoys executive-level communication, structured cadence such as QBRs, and regular travel to build partner relationships in-market.
