Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Development Representative role sits squarely in the enterprise SaaS motion where pipeline quality and account selection matter as much as volume. With an onsite remit in Amsterdam and close alignment to Field Sales Managers, the position reflects a structured outbound model typical of established SaaS vendors selling into finance leadership and other senior stakeholders.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable fundamentals in multi-channel prospecting, qualification, and territory planning, all core skills in recurring revenue businesses. It also offers practical exposure to how marketing touchpoints, events, and sales development connect to downstream conversion, giving a clearer view of the full go-to-market system rather than isolated outreach. The emphasis on research-led targeting and managing multiple engagements mirrors the operational discipline expected in modern SaaS sales development.
The role best suits early-career professionals who prefer measurable goals and enjoy combining relationship building with analytical preparation. It will appeal to candidates interested in B2B SaaS selling where credibility with C-level buyers is developed through consistent communication, thoughtful account work, and tight coordination with closing roles. Multilingual professionals looking to apply language skills in a commercial SaaS context will find the remit particularly aligned.
