Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Partner and GSE Account Manager role sits at a common SaaS inflection point: a product business operating with startup-like autonomy inside a larger platform following an acquisition. In the SaaS ecosystem, that structure often creates meaningful surface area across product, go-to-market, and stakeholder management, especially when the company’s distribution depends on high-leverage external partners rather than only direct sales.
For a SaaS career, the core value is learning how partnerships function as a growth engine and a product feedback loop at the same time. Managing relationships with institutions like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, alongside channel partners, builds experience in aligning roadmaps, launch processes, and commercial outcomes across multiple internal teams. The role also rewards comfort with software concepts such as APIs, which tends to translate well to other SaaS environments where integrations and platform strategy matter.
This position is best suited to professionals who prefer cross-functional work and can move between executive relationship management and operational detail. It will appeal to someone who enjoys navigating regulated or standards-driven ecosystems, and who wants responsibility for shaping how a partner program is run, not only maintaining existing accounts.
