About the position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training and E-Learning Content Creator to join our effort in auditing, revamping, and creating engaging digital e-learning content for our educational platforms.
As a member of the Education team, you will be responsible for training and guiding Optibus customers and employees to be fully competent users of the Optibus products.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and an educator at heart, passionate about technology, AI, training and education methodologies. Education team members have a deep desire to fully understand complex concepts, then be able to break them down to present them in a well-structured yet simplified and engaging manner. Training and E-Learning Content Creator should ideally be able to swiftly change hats and shape-shift to be able to stretch and accommodate to achieve the team goal of creating various deliverables, while adhering to the highest standards in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
LMS maintenance:
- Ensure freshness of e-learning content and make data driven decisions to drive e-learning content usage and adoption
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing e-learning content, clarity, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify training needs and gaps and work towards a mitigation plan.
Content Creation and Management:
- Use the latest software and AI tools to create, edit, and publish high-quality, user-friendly video e-learning content, including overviews, tutorials, how-to guides, troubleshooting steps, and feature overviews for our SaaS products.
- Understand target audiences to be able to accommodate the different roles and personas.
- Ensure all e-learning content adheres to our brand voice, style guide, and technical accuracy.
- Manage assets on the different platforms and work with stakeholders to ensure e-learning content is up to standards
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to train and educate external and internal users on new features and updates before they are launched.
- Partner with the Customer Support team to identify key pain points and knowledge gaps that can be addressed by improved e-learning content and AI routing.
- Work with stakeholders to localize the e-learning content and make sure it is up to standards.
Metrics and Improvement:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-learning content effectiveness, such as e-learning content usage, search success rates, case deflection rates attributable to the AI, and content quality scores.
