HR Manager & Business Partner – UK

What this role is:
As the HR Manager for UK and HR Business Partner you will provide both strategic and tactical human resources leadership and support that meets the needs of the business. Reporting directly to the VP Human Resources EMEA you develop HR strategies and implement HR practices to support our organizational advancement. In partnership with leadership, you will be responsible for creating, developing and executing programs that produce a world-class people experience across the entire employee life-cycle together with a high efficient, creative, committed and lovely HR team.
As a company, we have launched “Experience as a Service” in the market. This is an innovative strategy to accelerate Genesys cloud adoption, supporting our installed base with innovative cloud delivery. In this role, you will partner with business groups and leaders in the front line with Genesys Cloud and Multi-Cloud Solution organizations while also supporting G&A and “Go-to- Market” functions. These business groups have multiple complexities and strategic needs. You will work closely with them, contributing to their transformation, growing, and evolution, scaling business needs.
What this role isn’t:
This isn’t an HR police or admin role. We are looking for a thoughtful HR professional to address business needs related to employee people strategy and engagement with senior leaders. You will work directly and hands-on to execute workforce strategies, ensuring engagement, all while navigating scale for an agile and quickly evolving Cloud and AI first company. You will work in a highly matrixed environment including the global units within HR to implement the business strategy for recruiting, workforce planning, employee engagement and much more!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction and counsel to Senior Leaders and managers in all the disciplines of Human Resources (e.g. organizational development, employee relations, learning & development, performance management and compensation & benefits)
- Lead and facilitate as a change agent the evolution of the company
- Develop and recommend internal communication and change strategies to ensure the business is moving in a desired direction inclusive of acquisitions etc.
- Provides a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of both “Employee Engagement” and “Diversity and Inclusion”
- Responsible for creating a great place to work through organization development, continuous improvement, including cultural initiatives, to help lead the business to long-term excellence
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence appropriately
- Develop, implement, and ensure consistent application of HR strategies, guidelines, and programs across the entire employee life-cycle
- Strong knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding human resources and ensures compliance with all legal employment requirements
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, responsibility and fulfilment of commitments

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in related field (preferred)
- 5+ years relevant, broad HR experience at a manager level in the UK, ideally within IT industry
- Fluent in English. Knowledge also of other languages preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies
- Ability to provide vision and leadership
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong interpersonal, collaboration and teamwork skills
- Effective and positive persuasion and influencing skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, analytical and reporting skills (HRIS) and attention to detail
- Experience within a matrixed environment
- Ability to understand and promote the linkage between business and operational priorities and human resources activities
- Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of current -UK employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated change management skills in a fast-moving business with focus on growth via organic and acquisition
- Strong skills in handling employee relation cases and organisational re-designs
