About Clay
Our mission is to help organizations turn any growth idea into reality.
We see growth as a creative practice, not a formula. Finding and reaching your best-fit customers takes unique ideas and constant iteration. As AI makes execution faster and tactics easier to copy, creativity is the only lasting advantage. We're already helping thousands of customers — including Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp — go to market with unique data, signals, and AI research.
In 2025, we raised a $100M Series C backed by world-class investors including Sequoia, CapitalG, and First Round — and crossed $100M in revenue.
In 2026, we announced our second employee tender offer in 9 months at a new $5B valuation. We also launched a community equity round, for our customers, agency partners, and club members.

Recruiting Operations Manager
At Clay, we’re building a recruiting function that's as thoughtful, creative, and data-driven as the product we're building. We're looking for a Recruiting Operations Manager, someone who lives for clean data, loves optimizing systems and processes, and genuinely gets excited about making recruiters' lives easier.
As our RecOps Manager, you’ll help us get the most out of Ashby and other tools in our recruiting tech stack, use automation tools and AI to smooth out everything from our sourcing motion to our offer process, and you’ll help us understand how we’re progressing against our goals. Not least of all, you’ll manage our amazing coordinator team!
What You'll Do
Own our Ashby instance end-to-end: configuration, integrations, best practices, and ongoing optimization. You're the go-to expert when something needs fixing or improving, and you proactively identify what's next before anyone asks.
Build and own our recruiting analytics — design dashboards and reporting infrastructure that give the team real-time visibility into pipeline health, funnel conversion, time-to-fill, source quality, and more. Turn data into clear, actionable insights for the team.
Make recruiters' lives easier — identify friction in our day-to-day workflows and eliminate it. Whether that's improving how we schedule interviews, streamlining offer workflows, or building better templates and playbooks, you're always looking for the next 10% improvement.
Manage and develop our Recruiting Coordinators — provide day-to-day guidance and ensure they're set up to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
Own and evolve our recruiting tech stack — evaluate tools, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the full stack (Ashby, LinkedIn, sourcing tools, etc.) is integrated and fully utilized. You’ll help us evaluate new tools, and maybe even build new workflows in zapier and new tools using Claude.
What You'll Bring
6+ years in recruiting operations or talent operations, ideally at a high-growth tech startup
3+ years of experience managing high-performing teams
Experience managing a team: you've developed coordinators before and take their growth seriously
Deep Ashby expertise: you've owned an ATS before, and Ashby is your preferred home
Strong analytics skills: you're comfortable building reports and dashboards, and you can translate recruiting metrics into narratives that influence decisions
Systems thinking: you love designing elegant processes, and at the same time, you're not precious about them
Excellent communication: you can present data to leadership, write clear documentation for recruiters, and still find time to answer a team member’s question thoughtfully
Excitement for automation and AI: you are jazzed up about how AI and automation tools are transforming recruiting and making your role more interesting
