3 billion people across the world work in frontline jobs. Yet, despite rising costs and staff shortages, frontline organizations are still left to choose between paper, Excel, and WhatsApp, or decade-old workforce management solutions to take care of the most important part of their businesses - their people.
Enter Sona: the next generation of AI-native, frontline workforce management. We’ve built an end-to-end platform covering Scheduling, HR, Payroll, and Communications that gives the largest frontline organizations everything they need to staff more intelligently and empower their teams.
In 4 years, we’ve already made a deep impact on the lives of over 100k frontline workers and the operation of their organizations, grown the team to 120+, and secured over $50M in funding from notable VC’s, including Felicis, Northzone, Gradient Ventures (Google), SpeedInvest, Antler, and Notion Capital, plus notable angels like Tom Blomfield (Monzo).
It’s a hugely exciting time to be joining the team as we’re still small enough that you’ll have a significant impact on the company’s growth trajectory and culture, yet large enough to have a great structure, experienced leaders and world-class benefits in place. More on working at Sona here.
About the Role
As our first US-based Project Manager, you'll be a foundational hire and play a central role in establishing how Sona delivers implementations in the US market. Partnering with a Solution Architect, the two of you will form the core US delivery unit and own a portfolio of enterprise implementations for Sona's early US customers.
Day to day, that means running implementations end-to-end - managing scope, budgets, and timelines while providing an exceptional customer experience. It also means working closely with senior stakeholders across our GTM, Product, and Customer teams, as well as our customers' project teams and executives.
Beyond delivery, this role is a chance to shape the playbook for US implementations, bringing local market context and operational rigor to a function that's scaling fast. To do that well, you need to thrive in a fast-evolving environment and be a strong advocate for clarity and communication.
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Help establish and refine implementation processes for the US market, contributing to a scalable delivery playbook as Sona grows domestically.

Act as the primary customer advocate, building strong relationships and managing expectations throughout delivery.
Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful outcomes and efficient resource deployment.
Produce clear, consistent documentation and status reports, escalating risks where required.
Support our 'Land and Expand' approach by driving strong customer partnerships and early value realization.
Continuously improve project processes and tools to enhance delivery speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.
