The Lead Software Engineer is a seasoned professional who designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and debugs complex software applications, taking on greater leadership responsibilities. Recognized forexpertisein multiple areas, this role provides guidance on design and developmentstrategies, andoften leads complex projects that require both broad and detailed analysis ofvarious factors. The position demands excellent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Ideal candidates should have experience working directly with customers, effectivelyparticipatingin calls, understanding, and resolving issues. The role involves planning and prioritizing design and development activities to address a wide range of problems. Candidates should be capable of multitasking andanalyzingdiverse data toidentifykey factors.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI‑based code review and analysis) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and reduce manual effort.
Drive adoption of AI‑enabled engineering workflows across development, testing, debugging, and PR reviews while ensuring security, privacy, and maintainability standards.
Apply AI‑assisted techniques for log analysis, crash diagnostics, performance optimization, and faster customer issue resolution.
Required Experience/Skills:
Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack, Retrofit, Dagger, and similar libraries.
Proficiencywith Agile developmentmethodology(preferably Scrum), continuous integration, and associated tools (GIT, JIRA, etc.)utilizedto facilitate these processes.
Ability to effectively guide,validate, and refine AI‑generated code, tests, and reviews to meet enterprise quality and performance standards.
Experience or strong interest in applying AI for improving developer productivity, test automation, debugging, and operational support.
