Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This People Business Partner role sits at a common pressure point in modern SaaS: translating rapid product evolution into an operating model that teams can sustain. Supporting Product and Design inside an AI-driven, enterprise software business makes the remit especially relevant, since these functions tend to carry the highest load of prioritisation tradeoffs, cross-functional dependency management, and ongoing org design decisions.
For a SaaS-focused HR leader, the career value is in building fluency across the mechanisms that keep product organisations effective at scale. The work naturally strengthens judgment around team topology, leadership coaching, performance systems, and employee relations in contexts where roadmap changes and resourcing questions surface frequently. That experience transfers well across SaaS companies because it maps to recurring needs as product lines expand and technical organisations mature.
This is best suited to a People Business Partner who prefers close, embedded partnership with senior product and design leaders and is comfortable advising with incomplete information. It will fit someone who enjoys operating as a pragmatic operator, balancing individual nuance with organisational outcomes, and who wants to stay near how product decisions are made rather than working only through programs or policy.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product and Design leaders to help them build and scale high-performing, high-ownership teams. You’ll work side-by-side with leaders as they navigate growth, evolve their org structures, and operate in an environment where priorities shift quickly.
This role reports to the Head of People Business Partners and works closely with leaders across the technical org as well as the broader People team. The right person brings strong judgment, can quickly build credibility with technical leaders, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, often ambiguous environment.
What You'll Do
Partner deeply with Product and Design leaders
Work closely with leaders as they build and scale their teams, advising on org design, team structure, and how to operate effectively through rapid growth and change.
Coach and challenge leaders
Drive performance and accountability
Partner with managers on performance, feedback, and development, ensuring teams are operating at a high bar and addressing gaps quickly.
Navigate complex people situations
Stay close to the work
Develop a strong understanding of how Product, Design, and Engineering teams operate, from how decisions are made to where friction exists, and use that context to guide leaders effectively.
Operate in ambiguity
Help leaders navigate shifting priorities, evolving org structures, and new problem spaces, bringing clarity where things are not yet fully defined.
Help scale how we work
