Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the point where a specialised workflow platform meets a highly regulated, security conscious customer environment. Onebrief’s product is built for military staffs, and the work described centres on turning a complex enterprise deployment into day to day usage across Italian Army headquarters, including coordination around access, networks, and exercises. In SaaS terms, it is a field facing adoption role where credibility with the customer is as important as the software itself.
For a SaaS career, the value is in learning how products become operational inside large institutions with long decision cycles and strict constraints. The remit combines enablement, change management, stakeholder mapping, and structured feedback loops back to product and engineering, which are durable skills across B2B SaaS. It also builds fluency in translating real world workflows into product signals, a capability that carries into customer success, solutions, and product adjacent paths.
The strongest fit is for professionals who prefer high autonomy, are comfortable working between technical teams and senior customer stakeholders, and can stay effective when progress depends on process navigation rather than feature delivery. It also suits someone motivated by on site engagement tied to mission outcomes, with the patience to build trust across ranks and functions over time.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

About You
You are obsessed with end users — especially operational planners. You build trust quickly with Italian Army officers (primarily OF-3 to OF-5 equivalents: Captains to Lieutenant Colonels) and understand their daily planning challenges. They rely on you because you make their work easier, not harder.
You deeply understand Italian and NATO military headquarters. You have experience operating within Italian Joint and Army HQs (e.g., Bdivision-level commands), and you know how planning actually happens — not just doctrine, but reality. Senior officers and General Staff leaders respect your judgment.
You thrive in bureaucratic environments and know how to get things done. Whether it’s gaining access to classified systems, navigating Italian procurement pathways, or coordinating with CIS/IT offices, you persist through ambiguity and resistance to deliver outcomes.
You are highly reliable and detail-oriented. When a major demonstration, exercise, or deployment is happening, stakeholders trust that you’ve handled every detail — from system access to user readiness.
You are technically fluent. You don’t need to code, but you can confidently operate software, troubleshoot issues, and translate between engineers and military users — including within classified or restricted environments.
You build strong relationships across ranks and functions. From junior planners to Generals, you communicate clearly, build alignment, and influence decisions in complex organizations.
You are mission-driven. You care deeply about improving military decision-making, NATO interoperability, and the effectiveness of allied forces.
You are proactive and adaptable. You operate independently, manage your own priorities, and adjust quickly in dynamic environments.
You communicate clearly and candidly. You provide direct feedback from the field and deliver actionable insights to internal teams.
You meet access requirements. You hold (or can obtain) appropriate Italian and NATO security clearances and can access military installations across Italy.
