Senior Solution Consultant, EMEA
Location: Remote (Ideally based in Italy)
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
A Senior Solution Consultant will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefit of our solutions to partners, prospects, customers and internally supporting our sales force. A Senior Solution Consultant as a member of our Presales team will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs which vary in complexity.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Shortening the sales cycle by delivering flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
- Providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
- Acting as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales representatives.
- Transforming business requirements/challenges into Proof of Concept presentations.
- Developing and delivering high quality OneStream presentations and demonstrations.
- Presenting and articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall OneStream solutions.
- Improving/maintaining standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
- Designing, validating, and presenting Database & OneStream Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction.
- Developing and managing references through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of CPM industry experience in technical presales, consulting, or related roles.
- Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
- Background in Finance/Accounting and familiarity with business analysis and financial modelling.
- Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers’ landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of OneStream’s Cloud solution.
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills; ability to lead technical discussions confidently.
- Must have the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer’s needs.
- Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modelling.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Previous CPM industry experience is desired but not a requirement.
- Background in Cloud computing.
- Fluent in Italian.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) concepts and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with OneStream or similar CPM platforms and related technologies.
- Basic knowledge of database management and cloud-based solutions.
- Awareness of business processes in Finance and Accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Active listening and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with impeccable attention to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
