Role Overview
As an Enterprise Account Executive – Public Sector, you will be a key driver of growth, helping UK public sector organisations modernise citizen and employee experiences using Genesys’ AI-powered cloud solutions.
You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—championing our innovative AI capabilities, including predictive AI, conversational AI, and our industry-leading Experience Orchestration platform.
You will engage with stakeholders across central government, local authorities, healthcare, and other public sector bodies, navigating complex procurement processes and long sales cycles.
You’ll be working in a collaborative coaching environment, with a supportive and experienced leadership team, with ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
🚀 Accelerate Pipeline & Growth
- Identify, create, and expand new business opportunities across UK public sector accounts
- Build and manage pipeline aligned to public sector frameworks and procurement cycles
- Engage senior stakeholders with a compelling vision for AI-driven citizen experience transformation
🤝 Engage & Inspire Clients
- Understand public sector challenges such as budget constraints, accessibility, and service efficiency
- Align Genesys’ AI, digital, and orchestration capabilities to public service outcomes
- Develop value-led proposals focused on measurable outcomes (e.g. cost efficiency, service improvement, citizen satisfaction)
🏆 Execute the Genesys Way of Selling
- Lead complex SaaS deals within regulated and structured procurement environments
- Apply MEDDPICC methodology to navigate multi-layered decision-making processes
- Build strong champions across business and technical stakeholders
💡 Become a Trusted Advisor
- Influence senior public sector leaders with insights on digital transformation and AI adoption
- Demonstrate understanding of policy, compliance, and governance considerations
- Support organisations in improving service delivery, accessibility, and operational efficiency

Minimum Requirements
- Proven track record selling enterprise SaaS or Cloud/Digital solutions into the public sector (UK)
- Experience navigating public sector procurement frameworks
- 7+ years managing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Experience with MEDDPICC methodology
- Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Evidence of consistent overachievement
