Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Product Manager role sits in a core layer of the modern SaaS data stack: metadata. In cloud data platforms, metadata is the connective tissue behind discoverability, governance, cost visibility, and reliable analytics and AI workloads. Work at this level tends to have platform-wide consequences, because improvements to accuracy, performance, and observability can change how customers operate across storage, compute, and security surfaces.
For a SaaS product career, the long-term value is exposure to the mechanics of operating software as a service at scale, where measurement, instrumentation, and iteration are part of day-to-day product decisions. The remit implies practice translating ambiguous platform needs into shippable capabilities, using metrics to prioritize, and learning the tradeoffs that come with distributed systems. Experience coordinating across multiple internal stakeholders is also highly portable across SaaS companies building platforms, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
This listing is best suited to an earlier-career PM who prefers structured execution, tight partnership with engineering, and deep technical domains over purely market-facing work. It will appeal to professionals motivated by foundational systems, customer feedback loops rooted in operational pain points, and product work where success is defined by reliability and clarity as much as new features.

Job Description
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud is the unified platform and connected ecosystem of organizations building, using, and sharing data, apps, and AI. At the foundation of this platform is metadata. Accurate, performant, and accessible metadata is essential for customers to understand their data, operate at scale, and build reliable analytics and AI workloads.
As Snowflake supports increasingly large, complex, and AI driven data environments, our metadata platform must evolve to deliver better performance, richer context, and clearer observability across the entire platform. Metadata is a critical enabler for governance, cost management, performance optimization, and AI driven insights.
We are seeking a Product Manager to help drive execution across Snowflake’s metadata platform roadmap. This role is ideal for an early career PM who wants to work on foundational data platform capabilities, learn how large scale systems expose and manage metadata, and develop strong product instincts through close partnership with senior PMs, architects, and engineering leaders.
In This Role, You Will
Own end to end delivery of specific metadata platform features, from problem definition through launch and iteration
Execute on the metadata roadmap, including improvements to metadata performance, accuracy, usability, and customer facing observability
Use data, metrics, and AI assisted analysis to identify metadata gaps, prioritize work, and measure impact across the platform
Partner closely with engineering teams to translate customer, business, and platform needs into clear product requirements and execution plans
Develop product judgment around scale, performance, and usability tradeoffs in large distributed systems
Coordinate with adjacent teams across storage, compute, security, and governance to ensure metadata capabilities are consistent and integrated
Participate in customer conversations and feedback loops to understand metadata pain points in large scale data and AI workloads
Leverage modern AI and analytics tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, and decision making
Our Ideal Candidate Has
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top tier undergraduate program
Early career experience as an Associate Product Manager or a background in investment banking or top tier management consulting
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort using data to inform product decisions
Interest in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and platforms that power enterprise AI and data workloads
Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, insight generation, and execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn from senior PMs and engineers
