Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Product Manager role sits at a foundational layer of the SaaS stack: the reliability mechanics that make always on cloud services credible to enterprise buyers. Replication and disaster recovery are not feature add ons in data platforms; they are part of the trust contract that underpins production workloads across regions and cloud providers. That makes the scope inherently cross cutting, touching storage, metadata, security, and operational tooling.
For a SaaS product career, this kind of platform work builds durable instincts around SLAs, consistency tradeoffs, and observability, all of which translate to other infrastructure and developer focused products. The emphasis on metrics and AI assisted analysis also mirrors how modern SaaS teams increasingly run product discovery and prioritization, especially when customer impact is expressed through uptime, recovery objectives, and operational burden rather than UI adoption.
The role is best suited to someone who prefers structured problem definition, crisp requirements, and tight execution loops with engineering partners. It fits an early career PM who wants to develop judgment by shipping discrete capabilities while learning from senior product and technical leaders, and who is motivated by complex systems where customer conversations revolve around risk, resilience, and operational confidence.

Partner closely with engineering teams to translate customer, business, and platform needs into clear product requirements and execution plans
Develop product judgment around reliability tradeoffs, consistency, and SLAs in large scale distributed systems
Coordinate with adjacent teams across storage, metadata, security, and GTM to ensure clean platform integration

Leverage modern AI and analytics tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, and decision making
Our Ideal Candidate Has
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top tier undergraduate program
