Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Localization is a lever SaaS companies use to turn product-led adoption into durable revenue across new regions. This role sits at that intersection, translating more than words by adapting marketing, product surfaces, documentation, and sales collateral for Dutch-speaking IT audiences. In a category like IT operations software, accuracy and terminology discipline directly shape trust, trial-to-paid conversion, and support load, making localization a meaningful part of go-to-market execution rather than a final polish step.
For a SaaS career, the position builds a portfolio around end-to-end content operations: managing glossaries and style guides, running QA and UI/UX checks, and improving machine-translation output. That combination develops a repeatable system for maintaining consistency at scale across channels, a skillset that transfers well to other SaaS teams working on international expansion, lifecycle content, or product communication where precision and governance matter.
This is best suited to a linguist who enjoys technically dense material and prefers ownership over a defined workflow, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders for feedback and iteration. It also fits someone who wants to deepen craft in localization operations, including tooling, SEO-aware adaptation, and quality frameworks, within a remote, in-house setup.
