Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Full Stack Engineer role stands out in SaaS because it sits close to the product surface while still owning meaningful architectural direction. The description points to a platform-style environment with multiple teams and cross-product initiatives, which is typical of SaaS companies that have moved beyond a single codebase and are standardising how they build, ship, and operate features. The emphasis on performance and security also signals a mature production context where reliability and trust are part of the product.
For a long-term SaaS engineering path, the role offers repeated exposure to the mechanics that matter at scale: shaping technical scope, validating approaches through proofs of concept, and raising quality through deep reviews. The mention of AI tooling as a daily practice reflects a broader shift in SaaS engineering toward workflow automation, faster iteration, and codified best practices, experience that transfers across modern product organisations.
This position fits engineers who prefer influencing outcomes through both code and technical guidance, and who enjoy working with product and design as peers rather than downstream stakeholders. It will suit someone comfortable moving between hands-on delivery and cross-team alignment, especially in a hybrid setup anchored in Vienna.

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the technical direction and delivery of solutions in one of our teams. You aren’t just here to write code - you are a partner in the product journey, helping us shape architecture, refine the work breakdown, and advocate for performance and security at every step.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Vienna. We value in-person collaboration, so regular office presence is a priority. However, we remain flexible and work with you to find a rhythm that balances team connection with remote work.
Some of the things you’ll do:
In the first month:
- Get to know your product development team and get familiar with our products, technologies, systems & architecture, processes and practices.
- Absorb our engineering culture, start coding and ramp-up quickly within the Adverity universe.
- Get to know the architecture and codebase inside-out.
In the first 6 months:
- Support your product development team with deep code reviews, guiding them towards better system quality and engineering practices.
- Participate in shaping new features by getting your hands dirty in PoCs, breaking down technical scopes, and commence working on team deliveries.
Beyond the first 6 months:
- At this point, you know the Adverity platform very well, both product and tech.
- Participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives and help product development teams towards pragmatic technical decisions based on limited context, striving to constantly improve maintainability and reliability.
- You increase your impact beyond your product development team to the whole engineering team & beyond.
We’re excited if you have:
- Product-driven mindset: a strong focus on understanding users and solving real problems with intuitive, user-friendly tools.
- Daily use of AI tools (e.g. coding copilots, LLM-based design assistants, automation agents) and the ability to integrate AI reasoning and automation into workflows across coding, documentation, testing, and deployment.
- Fluency in Python and (preferably) the Django framework, with experience managing large-scale production systems and building REST APIs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills: you’re proactive, listen carefully, and collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders.
- A passion for learning, experimenting, and turning new AI tools into practical, repeatable workflows — always keeping user value at the core.
Nice to have:
- During your career you successfully mentored and coached engineers.
- Experience with data products and its challenges.
- Skill in demonstrating AI-driven productivity to peers and driving adoption within technical teams.
Why you’ll love it here:
- Flexible working hours and home-office
- Internal shares program (EDPP)
- Ergonomic workspace and cutting edge technology
- Budget for job relevant training
- Regular team events
- Modern and stylish offices
- Sustainable merch for all employees
- Adverity Social Responsibility Days (+2 days paid off)
The minimum gross salary is €75,000. In any case, we offer competitive salaries depending on your qualifications and experience.
