Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Head of Professional Services role sits at a familiar pressure point in enterprise SaaS: turning a complex platform into measurable customer outcomes across a large region. With an insurance technology focus and emphasis on executive governance, the work reflects the realities of SaaS serving regulated industries, where implementation quality, data readiness, and stakeholder alignment often determine time to value as much as product capability.
For a SaaS career, leading services at this level builds durable operating leverage. It develops fluency in how recurring-revenue businesses balance pre sales commitments with delivery capacity, and how professional services influences retention, expansion, and product direction without owning the roadmap. The remit also signals exposure to scaling patterns such as standardising delivery methods, managing utilisation and margin, and creating feedback loops from implementation learnings into engineering and product decisions.
The position fits a leader who prefers structured problem solving and clear governance, and who is comfortable operating through other leaders in distributed environments. It will suit someone who enjoys customer facing work with senior stakeholders and wants a role that connects commercial, product, and delivery realities across North America.
