Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Enterprise Data and AI Architect role sits at the intersection of cloud data platforms and applied AI, a core seam of today’s SaaS ecosystem. Snowflake operates as a foundational layer for modern analytics and AI workloads, and the remit described centers on shaping reference architectures across major clouds while anchoring on the Snowflake Data Cloud. For SaaS professionals, that combination signals work that is less about a single application and more about repeatable platform patterns that enterprises adopt at scale.
From a career perspective, the position builds durable SaaS leverage in three areas: designing governed data and AI systems that can move from proof of concept to production, translating technical tradeoffs into executive-level decisions, and codifying solutions into reusable assets that scale across customer environments. Experience spanning MLOps and LLMOps, security and compliance, and multi-cloud integration tends to transfer well across data infrastructure vendors, SaaS platforms, and AI product organizations.
The role is best suited to senior technologists who enjoy customer-facing architecture work and can alternate between hands-on design and strategic advisory conversations. It will fit professionals who prefer ambiguous problem spaces, can standardize solutions without overfitting to one client, and want their SaaS impact measured through adoption patterns and architecture outcomes rather than internal feature delivery.
