Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Manager, Data Science role stands out in the SaaS landscape because it sits at the intersection of advanced analytics and go to market execution inside a major data platform company. Rather than focusing on product instrumentation alone, the remit centers on revenue workflows where forecasting, attribution, segmentation, and lifecycle modeling directly shape how SaaS growth is planned and measured. The Menlo Park based setup also signals close proximity to senior GTM leadership and operating rhythms.
For a long term SaaS career, the position offers durable experience in how modern B2B SaaS organizations industrialize decision making. Leading experimentation frameworks, aligning metric definitions with analytics engineering, and translating stakeholder questions into deployable models are skills that transfer across SaaS categories. Managing a team while owning end to end initiatives also builds the operating toolkit needed for broader data leadership roles spanning RevOps analytics, growth science, or applied ML for commercial systems.
This role fits a manager who enjoys combining technical depth with cross functional influence, and who prefers work that is tied to measurable commercial outcomes. It will suit someone comfortable moving between executive level questions and hands on problem framing, and who is motivated by building repeatable analytics systems rather than one off analyses.
