Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role sits at a core junction in the SaaS operating stack: the systems and integrations that keep people data consistent across a growing, multi-system environment. In a cloud-native company context, Workday is rarely an island, and the emphasis here on connecting HR platforms with downstream services and analytics reflects how mature SaaS organisations run on reliable internal data flows as much as customer-facing features.
From a career standpoint, integrations work in SaaS tends to compound in value because it builds durable skills in APIs, data contracts, governance, and production reliability. Experience supporting release cycles, monitoring, and root-cause analysis also maps closely to broader platform engineering and enterprise automation paths. The link between Workday and a Snowflake data environment adds exposure to analytics-oriented architecture, which is increasingly central to SaaS decision-making and operational reporting.
The position is best suited to an experienced builder who prefers ownership of technical systems that many teams depend on, and who enjoys translating business processes into robust interfaces. It will likely appeal to professionals comfortable balancing delivery with operational support, and to those who like improving quality through documentation, testing discipline, and pragmatic use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering.

Job Description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
At Snowflake, our People team is the backbone of an extraordinary employee experience. As a Sr. Workday Integrations Developer on the People Systems team, you'll design, build, and maintain the integrations that connect our people systems — ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable data flow across our global ecosystem as Snowflake continues to grow.
This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin, CA or Menlo Park, CA offices with 3 days a week in-office attendance required.
What You'll Do
Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations using technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions
Provide production support for integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes
Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, IT systems)
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and our own instance of Snowflake to enable scalable people data pipelines, reporting, and advanced analytics
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across integrations, adhering to governance, compliance, and privacy standards
Manage integration deployments across tenants and support Workday release cycles, including impact analysis and regression testing
Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data mappings, and processes
Continuously identify opportunities to improve integration performance, scalability, and reliability
Promote best practices in integration design, error handling, and monitoring to ensure system stability
Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance troubleshooting and documentation
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
8+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience in a global environment
Strong experience with Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs (SOAP/REST), Workday Extend, Orchestrate
Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services technologies
Experience with integration middleware or iPaaS solutions (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plus
Solid understanding of Workday data models, business objects, and security framework
Familiarity with HR processes, employee lifecycle data, and downstream system integrations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex integration issues
Experience with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and integration error handling best practices
Curiosity and experience experimenting with and building solutions using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or Workday Agents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building scalable, efficient solutions
Operate with a customer service mindset, can-do attitude, and grace under pressure
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
