Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier. Our mission is to be a force for good in global wireless. Cape was founded in 2022 by people who believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a luxury to be traded away. Our journey began when our founder recognized a critical vulnerability in our modern world: everyone relies on the same stagnant cellular infrastructure and legacy systems that track our every movement, monitor and profile our connections, and lose and sell our personal data.
Instead of accepting the status quo, we decided to fix it. National security professionals, journalists, parents, and everyone in between can stay connected and have privacy.
We didn’t just build a layer on top of old tech; we built America’s most private and secure mobile carrier from the ground up. By building our own network from scratch, we are able to design and build a suite of privacy and security features that no other carrier on the planet can offer.
Today, Cape provides our secure network to consumers, businesses, and government agencies alike. We closed our Series C in March 2026, and we are scaling rapidly, with the goal of giving people back control of their most personal information.

The Role
Solutions Architects at Capelead engagements with our federal customers. They deeply understand the privacy and security challenges that Cape is solving and are passionate about bringing our technology to federal customers. Solutions Architects collaborate closely with business development, engineering, product, sales, and marketing to ensure we’re building the right thing and delivering it the right way to customers doing mission critical work. Solutions Architects must be high ownership, creative, solutions-oriented individuals who aren’t afraid to dive deep into complex problems.
Here are some ways you'll make an impact
Own the engagement with a new/early customer. You’ll be boots on the ground working with our customers to understand their challenges and deploy our technology. As an example, you will be responsible for integrating and overseeing the deployment of resilient, high-speed communication networks for the tactical edge.
These engagements will mostly take place across the Indo-Pacific and Eastern Europe as Cape continues to work with US federal customers across these critical Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
Cultivate relationships at all levels of seniority. Understand the ground-level problems we’re solving. Burn through frozen-middle bureaucracies to clear a path to success. Create and deliver executive presentations to ensure buy-in from above.
Work fluidly with product and engineering to ensure product direction aligns with our customers’ on-the-ground reality. You must be able to influence cross-team members to direct the appropriate resources to customer objectives.
In this role, you will need to demonstrate a high degree of independence and teamwork. This means you'll be empowered to make decisions and lead initiatives, but you will also know when to leverage the expertise of our engineering and product teams to ensure successful execution. We want someone who understands the difference between a good idea and a great one worth pursuing. The right person will have the judgment to know when to bet big on a concept and when to walk away, conserving resources and effort for what truly matters. You are the voice of the company at the customer, and the voice of the customer at the company.
Are you the candidate we are looking for? (Requirements for the role) You have:
A love for building things that matter
A willingness and ability to navigate complex bureaucracies and mission priorities aligned to our capabilities across language barriers and time zones
Gritty technical skills. We don’t need you to be shipping code to prod. But you enjoy automating horrible tasks as necessary to make sure we deliver for our customers
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - especially in a remote work environment
Proven ability to translate user requirements into functional technical roadmaps and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, guide, lead and follow
Active U.S. TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Willingness to travel up to 50%, mostly across the Indo-Pacific
Based in East Asia. Relocation assistance available.
Nice to have:
Five years of experience working in customer-facing roles (account strategist, customer success, or related discipline), or equivalent government experience
Specific examples of times you’ve slain bureaucratic dragons
Domain experience with privacy, security, telco, networking, or related fields
Experience in enterprise customer success, especially at early stage companies
Program and/or Project management experience in a post sales or implementation environment
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field [or] hands to keyboard technical skills acquired on the job or through a coding training program
